What to do if you get too high on edibles
Edibles can deliver a wonderful body buzz and uplifted feeling, but if we go above the tolerence unique to each of our bio-individualities, we can experience unplesant symptoms. If you think you’ve consumed too much THC, you may find yourself wishing you could reverse its effect. Although you’ll have to wait for the experience to pass, it’s a good idea to drink some water, juice or lemonade. Try to focus your attention somewhere, and take a rest if possible.
Edible overdose hacks include Black Pepper + CBD
Another way to try to reduce the unpleasant feelings associated with too much thc is to ingest some of its cannabinoid cousin, cbd. If you have any on hand, try taking a dose of anywhere between 5mg - 15mg, as it can help to block your body’s receptors that interact with thc and may help you feel less high. It’s also said that you can also sniff or eat some black peppercorn to try to block your receptors in a similar way to cbd. If you’ve consumed an edible on an empty stomach, try eating some food while you wait for the experience to pass.
